Bicol Adventure ATV is a small, independently run editorial site. It is a field guide to ATV riding around Mayon Volcano, not a booking platform or a business collecting customer data. This page explains, plainly, what does and doesn’t happen with your information when you visit.

What this site actually collects

There is no user account system on this site, no comment system, and the contact page is a plain email address rather than a form, so nothing you type is ever submitted to or stored by this site. Like almost any website, the server that delivers these pages keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request). These logs exist for basic security and troubleshooting and are not used to build a profile of any visitor.

The live weather feature

The “trail conditions” indicator on the homepage and on each trail page works by having your browser make a direct request to Open-Meteo, a public weather data service, for current conditions near Mayon Volcano. That request sends only fixed map coordinates for the Bicol region. Nothing about you, your device, or your location is included or transmitted. No account or key is involved, and this site does not see or store the response; your browser reads it directly.

Cookies

This site does not set its own cookies and runs no advertising or analytics tracking scripts. If a future version of this site adds analytics, this section will be updated first and the change will be dated below.

Links to other sites

Several pages link out to independent ATV operators, tourism resources, or other third-party sites, and the homepage sidebar carries a paid banner placement. Once you click through, you’re on someone else’s site, governed by their own privacy practices. This policy only covers pages actually served from bicoladventureatv.com. We don’t control, and aren’t responsible for, what those third parties do with information you give them directly.

Your choices

Because this site doesn’t set cookies or run tracking scripts of its own, there’s little to opt out of on this end, and most of the usual “manage your cookie preferences” controls simply don’t apply here. If you’d rather your browser not send even the standard technical request headers described above, most browsers offer a private or incognito mode that limits what gets recorded server-side, though basic delivery information (like your IP address, needed to route the page to you at all) can’t be avoided by any website.

Children’s privacy

This site is a general-audience travel and outdoor-recreation guide, not directed at children, and it doesn’t knowingly collect information from anyone.
